This amazing man has paved quite the path for the newer generation and hopefully we can follow in such inspirational footsteps.

have been trying to find this programme for years! thank you so much for uploading. I found this utterly mesmerising when I was a child. It's even better than I remember :)

This is episode 70 of ''Wildlife on One' from 1983. The series ran for 253 episodes, from 1977 to 2005. The amount of content Attenborough has been involved with is astonishing. Thanks for uploading!

Wow and to think that dormice & hedgehogs are a very rare sight in the british countryside today, what a very sad & poorer world we live in now, but hindsight is a wonderful thing 😢

I am so glad there’s no annoying loud music in this ... a lot of his recent films have been having that going on and it makes it hard to even hear him and enjoy the content ... Netflix may be to blame for some of that .. and bbc ... but I appreciate just the natural sounds of nature and wildlife .. people Really over do it with music in a lot of content that is much better off without it or at the least, not over the top with it .. these episodes are really cool ... it’s giving us the insight into animals that have to deal with living among us , more so than just the wild .. very cool vids / episodes !

Its strange watching programmes back from my childhood and little did we realise then what devastation & destruction man would cause the world by 2020, if only we had realised then what global warming & deforestation of our beautiful planet would cause 😭😭😭😭😭

I wish there were more docs on here like this. I miss 80's nature docs.

Omg me too !!!! Me ...too.... 😂. They don’t make them nearly as well these days. They’re too bent on cinematography gymnastics and overly loud annoying music and effects and people’s random commentaries and need for attention and camera time ... they fail to capture nature at its most real and authentic , as if man never touched it ... I can’t stand the bs out today. I love how these vids were just the natural sounds and not Intrusive annoying loud music , like much of his newer stuff. Idk why people wanna mess with a good thing , thinking ohhh the more cluttered up or over the top dramatic , the better. It’s all about networks competing against one another , more than actually showcasing amazing work/ content that speaks for itself ... such a shame

Yeah those annoyed the crap out of me. I watch these when I can’t sleep or when I’m going to sleep and nothing startles me more than such loud annoying sounds.
