Made a silly animation of my Splatoon idols Kelp (blue) and Coral (purple) :D they form the duo Night Market.
This is meant to be like a fictional in-universe music video they made based on the "bad ending" cut scene of Return of the Mammalians in Splatoon 3 hero mode :0 (and inspired by the Let's Go music video)

This animation perfectly captures my exact thoughts on what if a pair of inklings, and/or octolings went to the moon right when the bad ending for Splatoon 3’s story mode happened, and see the result of their planet being turned into a giant space fuzzball! The last 4 (the characters in his animation and octavio and neo agent 3) in their entire existence see their people turn into mammals and the world fall into ruin. The story of splatoon has very dark themes, an example of which is the bad ending of octo expansion where the population is extinguished, in this case killed by the tatar. Grizz's caused the extinction of marine life where the inklings and octolings ended up turning into mammals and losing their abilities.

Olay so I keep coming back to this and its for 2 reasons. One its really awesome and very well animated, and two i love how there is no dialogue and yet you can hear what they would be saying with their expressions alone like fear, shock, horror and overall dread at seeing the earh covered in the fuzzy ooze and them being helpless in stopping it, really great work and honestly a mini masterpiece imo 😎👍
