People forget when they hear cover bands they are expecting the same sound as what Queen and Freddie made, and most of the time have that sound in their heads, I'm an avid queen fan and have heard a lot of covers, and will admit i have done the same, but i have to say that this band are really good, excellent in fact, you will never replace Freddie or Queen, but by god these guys are good, i would pay money to see them, credit where credit is due.

I'm always critical of anyone singing queen songs, 1 they're the only band that held and still hold my attention, 2 the songs are so hard to reproduce that most covers get dumbed down, but not this, This and other performances I've heard are a true version of some epic songs, and for that, I thank you, brilliant,

Given the complexity of the music performed I'd have to say it's damn good - and I have been a rabid Queen fan since '74. Sure, there's tiny bits missing a drum fill, a vocal part or a guitar lead but overall this is a truly impressive show they've put together. Queen's music lives on - honestly I NEVER dreamed anyone would try to play the Prophet's Song live. BRAVO!! I would come see this show. The drums are tuned perfectly to Taylor's set on NATO btw.

Not too shabby, I must say. the ONLY two problems, (and yes, I heard two and they were both overall) you can NOT sing this song as you would any other song. if you try to make the vocals sound NICE (you singers, we all know what I mean) it loses the magic of the song. you HAVE to think of someone who has REALLY made you mad. remember why this song was written and overcome the scruples Brain had (that I am certain Freddie never bothered with) Second, don't hold back ANYTHING. this song has to be sung from UNDER the seat of your pants and ANYTHING you have above that which is not tensed up and SHOVING this song out is useless. if you are having trouble with the attitude from this song, go watch a housewives or bridezilla episode. a particularly nasty one. THAT is the attitude you MUST take. the only other thing is accent. Freddie's was very strong and you can always hear it in his singing. but that isn't really a problem, if an American TRIED to emulate it he'd be called a poseur, just a comment. no American can ever pull off Freddie completely. but, overall, terrific. you have the song beautifully. now, forget beautiful and get p!ssed! NO ONE says P!SS OFF and die horribly like Freddie did. this is how HE did it. respect the anger!

Completely agree! Wonderful explanation, Karon! I agree with you about no American being able to pull off Freddie right (although Spinal Tap fakes british accents fairly well...lol). Bad teeth and a Persian background with the British accent made it come together. Don't misunderstand me about the "Bad teeth" comment. I love everything about Freddie...the teeth were part of his SOUND. :D
