So many important lessons in this video. 1. Lighting… be prepared if you need to ride at night. 2. Practice and be efficient with your gps…. 3. Hope you have Muskoka Freerider with you and not me in this situation.😊

It’s a extreme sport and riding at night in places u never been make it even more extreme I normaly don’t like riding anywhere I haven’t been unless I’m on a quad I’m the summer but being on a mountain at night u could die at any moment if u make the wrong move or panick glad u didn’t drive off that cliff 😮 but glad u helped ur friends in pa we dnt get any snow like this I wish we did ima go to the mountains one day been to Tennessee when I was young before I broke my back I rode up hills that u would die on if u messed up but I was always scared but always made it never wreck to bad a car accident in passenger ruined my life but u gotta enjoy wht u have and make every day count 😊 jst found out why my race sled was over heated the rod in the thermostat was completly poped out I stuck it abck in but it does nothing inside hot water so I jst order a new one also I jst rebuilt my 550 fan I got both for 2000 but I got a lot of money into fixing these old sleds they dnt how power like urs or newer sleds but the 800 xcsp 02 gets it I’ve never been able to go full speed cause it always throws studs threw the coolers I now have new track but last year had no snow and overheating now this year I got a extra cooler jst put in and new thermostat on my way hopefully be fire the blizzard of 24 on Christmas 😊

Between me and the three others I ride with we carry 12 gallons of gas every time we go out. We have needed probably 5 time in the last 20 years but was damn glad we had it. The 24 lbs. extra weight is well worth it when you need it. And if you get separated and or lost from your group you can use the gas to start a fire. Especially where we ride there is no cell service

GPS coordinates for the starting position, and knowledge that they would be trying to work their way up and out (which would be in the general direction that recovery is coming in from), then head lights for the final spot. Communication was the biggest key.
