Very good review and must be done for all models. In fact Pilot does have ambient lighting. Door handles, cup holders, phone tray area and storage space over the glove box is illuminated with a white light. And there are small leds next to front light controls and also in backseat's overhead lamps those give a mild beam to interior during dark. Yes, it doesn't give a disco effect with several colors but ambient is illuminated.

Dear Sir, I own a 2023 Honda Pilot Elite and the VERY FIRST THING I noticed the night I first drove it is: OMG!!!!! These headlights (low beam and Brights) light up the road like nobody’s business!!!!!! And, I’ve owned Honda’s, Acuras, a 2019 Ford Expedition, and now a 2023 Dodge Durango SRT…all with fantastic headlights! The Pilot Elite is as good as, or even better than all of these previous cars! YET, now I noticed this reviewer fails to take the Pilot out on a night drive in the video! Why????? Why are you afraid to show how GOOD THE HEADLIGHTS are????? I don’t mind if they are reflective (old school) or NOT…they are UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME headlights!!!!! Take a retired State Trooper’s word for it. I hope you reconsider your thoughts, or clarify bc it’s misleading people. I suggest everyone take the new Pilot out on a night time test drive, to see for yourself…you’d be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t.

I would agree. I find the headlights extremely strong compared to other vehicles I own.

My experience is the same. I don't care how the light is produced, what matters is how it illuminates. These headlights are amazing. The light has a nice even spread with a slightly brighter front hotspot. Side visibility is excellent. There is very little spillover in the vertical direction so you don't blind oncoming traffic. The quality of the light also seems very good. Colors are accurate with a daylight white. And these things light up road signs like crazy with a dazzling white for super good signage visibility. I didn't realize what I was missing with other cars, but these things perform on another level compared to anything else I've driven. NHTS incorporates headlights in their safety ratings and these headlights performed pretty much spot-on when it comes to the high beam and low beam target illumination distances for the front and sides. They received the highest marks which makes sense based on my experience.

It's a well-rounded vehicle but the Telluride interior has more of an initial wow factor with the huge digital screens, ambient lighting and contrast in colors. I'd still take the Honda but for 55k the Elite should at least come with a high resolution 12" touchscreen, ambient lighting, full projector led lighting all round. It just seems a bit bland compared to some of the competition in that regard.

Forgot the fog lights. As a 2023 Pilot Elite owner I find the fog lights project well to the sides but very little added illumination directly in front of the vehicle.

This is the front-end design that I prefer. The hybrids' front ends are unnecessarily busy with the two ventilation ports at the bottom.

On the elite you have an active louver ,it closes when hey driving

Also, if you park the car outside and you have stray cats in your neighborhood, they will use that sculpting around the front ports as a ramp to get on the hood.

We bought our 2024 PILOT on November and we found out it was leaking oil and them my husband check the oil level and it was empty now we are thinking about changing it because when we press the gas it feels like it’s a lot of force on the motor sad we where so happy with it once we bought it 😢.

The reviewer is not fond of headlights. However, I happen to own a 2023 Pilot Elite and I think the low beam AND high beam headlights ARE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!! I don’t care if they are old reflective lights or not, I like them A LOT!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely love the nighttime review. Headlight coverage is so important to me. I agree that LED reflector headlights are just ok vs LED projector headlights, so don’t immediately assume one’s headlights are excellent just because they are LED. It seems more and more non-luxury line cars are getting C-level headlights despite being the top trim of certain vehicles. It’s a silly cost cutting measure in my opinion as headset visibility is so important to safety.

Mine also stopped working and I have less than 2k miles on the car. Took it to the dealership and they have to order the bulbs for replacement. Apparently it's a common issue but most ppl don't even notice it.

Only problem is honda still using Timing belt not chain for all of they car.

Timing belt is quieter, lighter and smoother. Change it after 7 years...lots of room to work in there

Hey dude I’m gonna have to call you out on this Elite Pilot, I watched your 0-60 video with this Pilot and that took some time. I just watched another video yesterday on this exact model Pilot, and the gentleman was able to get from 0-60 in 4 seconds…. 4 SECONDS!!! How do you explain that? Did you really try in that video or what?
