Just found this podcast and glad it did..interesting listening about would bucktails work in the UK well I've been using them now since early 2000 ..a good friend who is very good at tying salmon flies first did me some in mybe 1998 and after a lot of messing around with different patterns finally found something that actually worked ..I have caught meny bass including fish to 9lb mainly at night some patterns 10ins long also sea trout and in fresh water some big pike when nothing else would work ..so yes they do work in the UK and thanks for the podcast it was a good listen.
