I saw it about 25 year ago in an "arcade room" "arcade store"? (Sorry for my english) and it rocked it due zombie thematic and beat'em up feature. The only game that comes into my memory similar to this is "mutation Nation" by SNK. But night slashers is better in my opinion. Nice soundtrack also.

I've owned the PCB of this game since the mid 2000's and love it. This theme sounds so much like Keiji Mutoh's themes in NJPW in the 90's, namely his Muta Concerto theme as The Great Muta and his own Keiji Mutoh face persona Triumph theme: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gaXZp2mrmsyUgKs kzbin.info/www/bejne/fonRop-wjM1mqNU Especially the background music that starts around the 2:00 mark. It sounds like a slower version of Mutoh's themes. Definitely must have been inspired by them.

I can...sorta hear it. Definitely there in the chord progression. It'd be a pleasant surprise to me if the people behind the music for the Gravity Falls show were inspired by this OST.
