Night snow removal with the JD 3039R

I have a 3039R as well but opted for the front mount blower. Just installed it last week for the year. Glad it has been a light winter.

I wouldn't mind a front snow blower if I didn't need my FEL all winter to feed round bales.

@@ElkCreekAcres yeah one drawback. I built a rolling pallet for my blower so I a take it on or off if I need to.

That cab sure looked comfortable on a cold night. I'm still using an open station.

It sure is nice Denise, for what they get for these tractors today I’d probably still have my 2038R, glad I did this before all the price increases!

Yep Pat I found out I don’t like operating the tractor with Muck Boots either. Feet are too big with them on. Hopefully some seat time tomorrow.

Yeah, buddy. Putting that blower ro work. We haven't had enough snow to use one. Just 2 or 3 inches here and there. It hasn't stayed this year. It just completely melts the following week. 🤷‍♂️

Ah bro, this is only one of the two times I’ve used it all winter. Been a warm one, mostly rain when we have had precipitation.

@ElkCreekAcres yep, a ton of rain here as well. The groumd is so saturated from snow melt and rain, ag fields look like lakes.

I pay more attention to not blowing snow on my wife than the dogs Lol though I do have to stop and let the dogs get out of the way from time to time.

Nice fluffy stuff. Sitting in that nice warm cozy cab you should be doing that in tennis shoes instead of those Mucks.😁 And is the ground effect lighting new or have I just missed it from other vids?

It is nice having the cab, the Muck boots are just easy to slip on, otherwise I would have put regular boots on. The ground lighting was a Christmas gift, not sure how long they'll last, but they're kind of neat.

UFO lighting Lol, they were a Christmas gift, we'll see how long they work. They are rated for outdoor and I can change color if I want.
