In this video I demonstrate the 1982 Mattel game Night Stalker. It is not about how high my score was and it is not a speed run. It is just a video of me playing one of the greatest games of all time. I also show my strategy for getting further in the game. I hope you enjoy watching this as much as I enjoy playing it. INTELLIVISION LIVES!

Oh man, I used to watch my dad play this with I was 6 or 7 and would laugh the whole time, especially when he'd get to the boss that ate your house (base). We had nicknames for every monster after the first one (Sneakers, Fatso, Smokey, and Invisible Smokey). I didn't appreciate his skill until I found the old system and tried playing it as an adult. Shit was hard. He could get to the invisible monster that ate your house (lmao) but I could never get past the white guy. Thx for upping this!

Sin - are we related?! Your beginning strategy is exactly like mine! Stake out the bottom hallway and knock off the "cheap suitcase" robots with the first two rounds. Then start working the maze when the smarter edition deploys, all the while ducking and doging demented spiders and bats. The best strategy game of its era!!!!

Great viewing! Lots of good memories, I fought that black robot a few times, I remember the terror! And the invisible robot I only fought once and that was crazy. Awesome game, gotta play it like a cross between a ninja and a footballer - crafty stealthy shots from a distance, and lost of faking to the left and the right (with a bit of Dirty Harry... "Have I shot five bullets...??" Thanks for posting this!

I remember playing this game. I bought the Intellivision game console in 1982 along with Sea Battle, Night Stalker, and Triple Action. My favorite was Sea Battle, followed closely by the biplane fighting in Triple action. There were competitions held where I'm from and I won both of those. I wish there still could be a way to hold competitions for some of those old game's, like many that post on here, I know we all think we're the best, lol.

If you notice. Some of these same sounds were used in other games for the Intellivision. Like the game Utopia/ When you pick up the gun in this game. It's the same sound as fishing in the boats in Utopia. Shoot a robot and he blows up. Same sound in Astrosmash when you get hit. I had all these games and still own an Intellivision to this day, lol.

I love the sound when you try to shoot the gun when your gun is empty @1:51. It sounds like the sound they play when you get the answer wrong on Family Feud. I used to play this game all the time. Yes. I had this same system, as Well as the Atari 2600. I owned both systems, and had more than 20 games for each of them. The Intellivision was a much better system than the Atari 2600. Space Armada was better than Space invaders, with better graphics and a more to the game. Pitfall and Frogger were also better on the Intellivision, Night Stalker was much better than Dark Caverns, and Atari`s Burgertime didn't even come close to Intellivision original. The Intellivision system was the best system you could buy until the the NES came out. The only thing I liked better about Atari was the controllers.
