The hotel on the left @28:46 (Granbell) has a great rooftop bar (Open to the public) that looks out over Kabukicho. The view would make a great time-lapse at sunset. Thanks for a wonderful video. Can't wait to go back in a couple of weeks.

Thank you for this video. I spent many, many nights (and days) roaming around Kabukicho and it was nice to see it again. You know, I miss my mama chari. Those things are cheap but they last for miles and miles. 2 Questions - How do you mount the DJI Osmo Pocket onto your bicycle? How much, if any, stabilization do you do in post? I've made a few bicycle riding videos with a cellphone mounted on a Gimbal and held it. The video was smooth enough but just a pain to hold. No stabilization in post. The first "riding around Tokyo on a bicycle" video I saw was years ago and the guy used a GoPro mounted, I believe, on the handlebars. I remember it being pretty good. Thanks again! 05:21 - Previously, that karaoke spot was a McDonald's 09:08 - I spent many nights at The Hub (British Style Pub Chain) 18:52 - That hotel has nice rooms. :) 27:25 - Did you scare that girl? lol

It was so weird, the last time I stayed in Shinjuku was in the Godzilla hotel 6 yrs ago. When you turned the corner at 1:36, I knew exactly where you were and my subconscious re-acquainted itself with familiar landmarks.

Spent a lot of time around here as there are many live houses where I see shows, I know the area well and it's nice to see all the sights again as I didn't get to travel this year. It's one of my favourite places to hang out as good places to eat and live houses plus met some cool people as it's a popular nightlife area to go for various sub cultures.

Kabukicho really looks like a very cool city inside Tokyo Japan. I will love to visit are live there. The night life very colorful. Cheerful also I love metropolitan life style as well. Millennium Tower Godzilla. Don Quijote store . I Hope everything is still there in Year 3/7/2021. If it is hooray to that.😘😘😘❤✔. This city reminds me of the City of Las Vegas with all the lights. also the City that never sleeps.

Did they clean the neighborhood up? it seems so calm and not as seedy/criminal. i think there was another kabukicho video where you said they didnt want people walking around with cameras, looks like you dont have that problem anymore!

most those shop the owner die off since the law only allow as long as the owner is alive and the cost so high most people don't go... it is safe in certain degree compare to 10 years ago but i won't risk it...
