I first read Yogananda's 'Autobiography of a Yogi ' almost 48 years ago when I was 18. Since then I have read it 6 times and each time I went through it I learnt something new. Anyone out there who reads this comment but hasn't read the book should get it today. I promise you it will change your life infinitly for the better!

I first read his book 44 years ago while l was in the army in Hawaii. It was the book that launched me on my spiritual journey. I also think l probably lived several lives in India. And of course you're right, every time you read that book, like many spiritual classics, you experience something new.

Yogananda remembers being in his mother's womb..now when you are blessed with that type of awareness it is just one indication that that person has a very advanced level of attainment on the path. He tells stories of advanced yogis who perform christ-like miracles as we follow his path through his life. He also manages to inject some humor into his adventures. A true spiritual classic.
