As a real fan of your channel, I also know that you enjoy rock music, logic and insight problems and horror movies.😊 I liked how it looked on the train, it was nice and welcoming and that, at one point, you showed the route on the map (you really traveled a long way). Great video and I can't wait to see what's next!😊

Yes, I should show maps more often. It's more fun when you visualise the whole route of the trip. Thank you for the lovely comment! 🥰

Yes, this really is a collection video! I admit that I had high expectations ever since I saw the thumbnail and I was not disappointed at all! The edit and introduction were masterful and the rest continued in the same manner! I also have a passion for trains, and the Uzbek one seems like an unmissable specimen for any fan! So much character and style! PS Broccoli? Really? 🥦😔

YES that was a great price for the train trip. You can wind up paying more than that for a taxi around town! Amazing how different cultures and places do things:-)

So true! 30 dollars for a 10 hour train ride, 1st class.. crazy. Same as a 10 minute taxi ride from the pub if I decide not to wait for the bus here in Vienna. Haha! Glad you enjoyed this one 😊

What a beautiful cabin you had. We love traveling by train. In fact, right now, we have a 21-day JR rail pass for our upcoming trip to Japan. Lot of rail travel on that trip.

Wow, that is awesome! I hope you'll post a lot of videos from that trip. From food, to trains and unusual stuff. Cannot wait!

Great vlog, thanks for info you're providing! May I ask how you managed to book first class? Been trying to book it on Uz Railways App and other web agencies and it never comes up. Any insight would greatly help!! Many thanks, cheers!

Thank you so much, you are too kind! I saw that nowadays there's this 125Ф train almost every day, which only has sleeper and coupe. Sometimes you can see in the app the 056Ч train (that's the one I took), but you cannot buy tickets for it. I reckon it just doesn't run for a few months? Maybe because it's summer, maybe because some rail works in progress, no idea. But that's the train that has 1st class. Only 16 places that sell out fast, just so you know, in case you travel in the autumn or something. Book way in advance and build your trip around it. You can be spontaneous with everything else, but not with first class tickets 😋 Let me know how it went. Cheers!

@@WhereDoWeTravelNow Wow thanks so much, that's really helpful. Was looking to book mid-September, I guess this train is not running then. May I also ask - did you book your ticket online on Uzbekistan Railways? If so, how do you get the cabin to yourself, do you need to book the 2 beds? Again, many thanks for your prompt (and insightful!!) answer. Happy travels!

@@catherinebenoit5880 Well, if you don't manage to get the first class train, then you're gonna have to book way more than just 2 seats/beds 😂 3rd class is actually very fun and safe in Uzbekistan. But it's 38 beds, basically the whole car is open, no compartments of 2 or 4 beds, but all 38 together. Still fun. The 2nd class is something in between the 3rd and 1st (something you were probably expecting haha). That means 4 beds per carriage. Like in the video above basically, but they also have upper beds on both sides. The good thing on Uzbekistan Railways Website is that you can book the exact seat/bed you wanna have. That means you can also book 4 beds in a specific carriage, so you travel alone. I would not recommend that though. It's gonna cost you like 80 euros/dollars, which is a lot for Uzbekistan. And most importantly, people in Uzbekistan are really cool. Safety is NOT an issue, people tend to be discreet, but can also be talkative and fun. It's nice to have someone to interact with in case they know 5 words in English. If not, they use Google translate and still ask you everything about your family and life. And yes, use this website (something like eticket dot railway dot uz. Official website, prices, everything. Touristy websites like asia whatever gogo or stuff like that, kinda scams if you think about it. I have a lot more Uzbek videos. Maybe you find more inspiration for your trip there 😋

Can you check and let me know what was the train number ? I also have to book a train from Bukhara to Khiva but actually I can't find 1st class option. Thank you!

I took the 056Ч train. I don't know if it's temporarily not in use or what the deal is, but I see it on the website, yet you cannot buy tickets for it. And yeah, the other train, 125 something, doesn't have 1st class. Maybe 056Ч comes back in autumn? Let's hope so.

@@WhereDoWeTravelNow thank you for your answer. I thought so it’s a different train number, other than 125. It seems that’s my only option 🙁

Every Uzbek train I tried was a lot of fun anyway. I have to admit, the 1st class was something else, but 2nd and 3rd are also pretty cool. Enjoy the ride!
