Night Vision Binoculars, yeah these work

Night vision binoculars review, purchased from Amazon for under $100.
In my opinion these work pretty good in total darkness and good for about 100 yards.

Just received mine today as a gift. I too live rural. Thanks for the review. Another thing you might consider, if you have the affordability, cellular, and internet, are the trail / game cameras. I have several deployed and they work fine. Here's an example of the ones I have. A cheap addition are driveway alerts. Good luck.

Thx for making this opinion, i see them for $150 and seems like a good thing to have. I live on five acres, with feral pigs around, and also i have 180 fruit and nut trees i may have idiots trying to get to in the future.

Just record the sound of a Racking Shotgun. Don't need to have a real one out there and put the speaker up on a motion sensor with no light or a little laser sensor (like on most garage doors) put that just beyond where your don't cross line is roughly where you stopped them this time maybe a little further out. That may give you one more automated no need to wake up every time thing to stop the intruders. May work may not but I know if I hear one I'm stopping and turning around to leave. Just don't put it on a loop or they'll figure it out quick, make it go off and then stay quiet for 3 or 4 minutes. Maybe a little rustling of leaves like someone walking a bit closer.
