My dad is and always has been a huge sci-fi fan and I have so many great memories of connecting with him in that way. I was the kid who either wanted to be an astronaut or study the stars, but then I grew up and let life get to me. It’s weird, but this video just healed that sense of childhood wonder by reminding me it’s still there, just a bit buried. Sorry to get so deep, but this video just really hit home. The slight, droning background track she uses in this video along with the visuals is what does it for me. There's something about the little doodads and string sounds that play every few seconds, and the rhythm of the arpeggio that's eerily relaxing, and keeps me coming back to this specific video.

I have to say that this is my favorite video for sleep. she seems very lonely and has been traveling through space for a very long time. I love (as the spectator) being in the role of the ship's system/bot.
