He had glasses the whole time, why didn’t he use them?? And I was expecting him to finally kill the monster but apparently not, he got possessed and killed or such in the end. Not even a happy ending… why also stick around?? He could have ran away or left the house, what happened to locking doors and windows?? This protagonist really sucked and didn’t think a lot through 😭

Sometimes the exquisite stupidity of a protagonist is just too hard to bear and ruins the whole film. Such as here. He had a pair of glasses with which to see everything. Instead he chooses to stare holes into the air without them and even invents a trick with an empty picture frame that he doesn't really make good use of, either.

Thank you for posting this during my afternoon so I can overwrite some of the images in my mind before bedtime. I really enjoyed so many parts of this!! except... SPOILERS follow... . . . . when I had to screech... What! He's not going to make it? And then immediately had to block the screen when the malevolent presence had to make a physical entrance for itself The continued effects of seeing the presence/blood thru the glass and in the mirrors was esp cool and creepy!

The way you manipulate light and space in this film is absolutely brilliant. I’ve always been drawn to films that use the environment as a character itself. My short film 'NONEXISTENT' takes a similar approach, using shadows and confined spaces to create a sense of isolation and existential dread. Shot on an iPhone 15, I’d be honored if you gave it a watch
