@bofur had a game a couple days ago where an omu got golden anub golden kt and golden nightbane and he had 2 reborn handless with like 4k attack each, completely stomped my dragon board, normally I'd be pissed but I was more impressed.

i really like this type of bg videos, cuz it embrace the "doing something clever with what i have at hand" and i like that there is some room in this meta, at least for now, for boards like this to punch itself up. i dont say that this should always win, i'm saying that an smart use of the resources at hand should lead to some results

Nightbane + Kel’thuzad is such a fun comp! It’s definitely worth going to 6 after stabilizing. That last fight probably could have been a coin flip with 5 turns of KT scaling. Particularly because you can buff a second Nightbane and have them bounce buffs back and forth. Definitely good meme potential.

⁠@@bofur normally I agree after your explanations, but in this case you need to do the math. It’s not close! Watch back again at 15:30, choosing the Lass-o-matic to generate spells to buff with the Hooktail is trading 2 spells and 12 total attack to the board NEXT turn for +256 attack THIS turn and at least +512 attack NEXT turn (4 buffs of +32 attack x 2 Barons and it happens twice before the second combat). The question is whether 2 random spells are worth +500 attack to your board. It’s a chance for significant permanent scaling against a trivial opponent. Hard to beat that!

The new meta allows for a lot of multi tribe build if done correctly, I'm very excited to see how high level will just tear lobbies apart with the combinations they can find

At one point you skipped the undead spell that destroys an undead, I maybe would've procced it on nightbane then got out of baron that way you have more space on your board to scam or maybe scale

seems weak imo. You burn 2g to buy the spell, 1g from the minion then at best you don't hit baron and you get to buy 2 things and spend 6g. But what? Do you have those cards in hand? Random minions is definitely not an upgrade here and you're volunteering to spend 9g to be weaker 70% of the time and marginally stronger 30%. And on what time frame? It's not like you have turns to lose here. It's a different story if you're on 5, holding 2 leeroys or something.
