Looked like he barely knew how to play Yas and just BARELY had the mechanics down and it'd carried him a few matches so he thought he was hot shit. He went on wrong target thinking 'yeah Brand looks juicy' without thinking about his ganker, which cost him death. Entirely his fault for wanting to tunnel vision onto the guy with a linear stun while using a character whose schtick is linear movements and attacks.
