My childhood friend went through a stage of depression, we we in elementary school, she was abused, ran away, and never felt loved. I helped her through everything, and she helped me learn how to draw. I moved away after about 2 months of helping her. I met some other friends who said that my old friend killed herself. I was heart broken. I continued with my life, I got into school, an art school to be exact. I kept my buddy in my heart throughout the way. But, I got a text 6 years later, "Thank you for all you have done for me. I'm pround you got into school." It was my childhood friend. We meet up every few months, she lives in Kansas, and I'm in colorado. It's great to k ow that she's still here, and still with me

I used to have so many adventures with my party we played DnD, explored the woods, played laser tag and so much more like we were a party of adventurers Leo was our Wizard, Hope was our bard, Greg was our fighter, Gavin was our funny rogue, Jacob was our barbarian, Chris was our Cleric, and Tolan (me) was our Sorcerer, we would do so much together school or not lol but then most of them blamed me and said i was a horrible person because i stuck up for someone they were messing with and they hated it to the point where i had to fight them i dont think I'll ever find a group where I'm happy again but this song reminds me of so much just so much of all thise time we hung out and had a great time Now 21 years old: I was a sophomore when I wrote this and while I don't have everything that I strive for, I do have a lot of it. I got a full ride for college through my full time job, I have some friends and family. I don't play dnd anymore but I still go on adventures, just mostly with my new friends or my little sister(she was a 1yr old when originally wrote this 5-6 years ago) who is the light of my life, I got fit, I get compliments on my charm and looks(which even after a couple years is still hella weird for me since I was the ugly duckling growing up.) and have a clear direction. However I still harbor some of the same wounds from when I first made comment from my school Chromebook lol, so I hope the next time I edit this comment, I will have truly discarded this constant feeling of being alone, and that I have succeeded in both protecting my siblings and atoning for my youthful arrogance. Can I tell a story? So I was really young like 6 or 7 at the time and me and this girl were best friends! Nothing could keep us apart she was 2 years older than me but 1 grade higher. We played games, drank some soft drinks, and sang together. She was always quirky and she also had this Angelic voice. She was the optimistic one of us and I was sort of pessimistic but more of a realist. We even joined a dance competition for our school together and got 3rd place. It was really embarrassing because their costumes were skin tight and bug themed. It was really funny because she kept running from me because I was carrying a spider to her and her friends. We laughed so hard then. I wish I could go back. I wish she would come back. After the competition I confessed to her and she said yes to my surprise but then she graduated. We got distant. She moved away. She didn't acknowledge my confession. We got in contact 2 years later she had a boyfriend and she was living in a different country. Then 2 weeks later she broke up with him. I became her rebound. Another month later she got a new boyfriend... then we had a fight and up until now she's still ignoring me... that new boyfriend isn't me. I miss the good days of when we sang songs, played games, role played, and Drank stuff together... I miss my Raven... I miss my bestfriend

If i could go back into the past I would actually want to go back when i was 5-6 years old. I sometimes went to school sometimes didn't. My mother played with me. My brother was home.
