No, he is a saint and martyr. Also not only was communist rule way, way, way worse but also they made up much of the popular western perspective. Monarchy in the godly form of government for Christians and the emperor of rome is especially blessed as the secular head of the Church and a shadow of God's patriarchal and autocratic rule over this world. The Tsar was not just a great man but a holy one, and we cursed by his absence.

Если не учитывать то, что Россия в начале 20 века сильно отставала в экономике, социальной жизни, образованию и во многих аспектах западу. Плюс полное разочарование во власти после Японской Войны, плюс то, что Никола 2 стал главнокомандующим Русской Армии в Первой Мировой, плюс господство Русской Церкви, плюс Кровавое Воскресение, плюс Восстание Декабристов (которое ну никак не относится к Николаю 2, просто я добавил к сведению), плюс такую себе отмену Крепостничества...
