Bro, I’m a 12 year old guy: I’m supposed to be all over sports and trying not to get caught cheating by teachers. I shouldn’t be here, a 12 yr old guy struggling with his sexuality and trying to stay alive. What the hell, life? This ain’t fair haha. Edit: yo just seen this figured I’d update. I’m still 12, turning 13 next month. I’m going to therapy and I got officially diagnosed with MDD (major depression disorder) GAD (generality anxiety disorder) anorexia, and PTSD. think I’m bisexual but shit is still rough yk. I’m doing better since I got out of an abusive household with my father. I transferred schools and stuff to try to have a new start. Im trying to go clean on self harm. I’ve been trying to go clean for a while but it’s still been hard. But I got a few really cool friends right now that I’m able to distract myself hanging out with. They’re all chill. I still have my episodes where i can’t get motivation to get out of bed or even attempt at eating. Though I’m lucky to have a supportive mom (and dogs). I’m starting more on art (drawing/painting) and writing my thoughts down. Both those things have helped tremendously in me getting my anxiety and stuff under control. The reason I’m updating this is to point out that shit is rough in the long run. It really is. And age ain’t got shit to do with it. Age doesn’t equal strength and wisdom. Strength and wisdom depend on what you have learned in your time of just living life. Cause no life is perfect, there will always be bumps in the road. We all have challenges we have to face. It’s apart of life and what it is. Some people may have gone through worse than you, some people may not have gone through half the stuff you went though. And that’s okay. We all learn that the sun rises In the east and falls in the west like a pattern at the end of the day. We all fight our battles. If it’s studying to get a good grade In school or fighting to stay alive. It’s a battle that we ourselves have to face. And ain’t nobody saying that battle is going to be easy. But you can’t just give up when there’s a whole war that still needs to be faced. But don’t look at that as discouragement. Because that is just another reason to fight for something to live for. Because we can’t live without a fight. And damn am I willing to fight to earn a day of serenity. Cause it’s worth it in the long run. Also I appreciate the supporting comments I received. I hope you all are doing okay. Also to the comments I got that had a bit of hate in them. I hope you are doing okay as well. I love you all, and remember to fight the battle and give it your best. Cause what’s living if you ain’t got anything to live for, right?
