The line "The silence is so loud" is just hitting me in the face. See all throughout school i was the lonely one. But the silence of not talking to people made it all so loud. It made the realisation of being alone so loud. It made the voice in my head loud. I cry whenever that part comes up, but I don't even know if it's sad or happy tears. For everyone confused, it's about anxiety and stress. When it says that their phone has no signal, it's to represent that they can't call for help. When it says that the silence is so loud, it means that it's quiet irl, but inside her head, she has these loud thoughts squirming around. The monsters she talks about are again, her own thoughts. The panic room is her mind. When she talks about the coast clearing, she means she thinks everything might work out. But then those voices and strange noises keep disturbing her wherever she goes. The monsters that are bigger than her control are thoughts that just put a stop onto her, so like, so like,.she has maybe a project to present, and she's just like, what if the whole thing just falls apart on stage? When she says the nightmares gonna begin, she means that because of all the thoughts she had, she thinks some upcoming event is gonna be a hellish disaster. I hope this helped clear it out :)

My interpretation of "my phone has no signal, it's making my skin crawl" She is either having a panic/ anxiety attack. Or she is having a mental episode. She is trying to reach someone for help. But everyone is ignoring her. (Because No one believes her.) which makes it worse, causing her skin to crawl. Also when she said "These monters are much bigger than I can control now." Her mental illness has gotten out of hand. To where she can't cope with it anymore.

"I guess I understand. Last question. Does everyone wake up with no memory?" I said. "No...Unless you're-" His eyes had a sudden hit of realization... "No way, " He mumbled Before I had time to ask him anything he took a gun and shoot me. I didn't die. I dodged it? His eyes held a look of surprise and he said, "That confirms it. Perfect. I quickly rolled over to where the rod was as he was still trying to hit me. I grabbed the rod and with inhuman speed I knocked him out, possibly killed him. *"Ah...hahaha...I remember now. @Mackenzie Helbling Think of it as kids stuck in one place. Filled with monsters but the monsters arent the only enemy. There are helpers like the guy who helped her out but he wasn't always a helper and probably won't stay one too. The girl is the seeker who is suppose to disguise herself as a survivior and kill the survivors and helpers. Though the girl is known as one of the best hunters she could not kill the guy for personally reasons. I would write a story of it but Im a bit too lazy for that.
