Took me 10 years, but I finally came across a group of friends that saved me from my pain. It was worth those 10 years of fighting for me. to focus on mine, I had a friend overdose because she got rejected (always made me cautious on talking to people). After that i watched as a close friend learned his best friend was murdered by two of his other friends the year after. Made me cautious of making new friends, and yeah it made me lonely for years. I eventually met this group of people, and they slowly broke down the barriers I had.
