That Coyote didn't want a face full of flying Claws and was smart enough to keep his distance. What an incredible encounter. Your video content is second to none. The best I have ever seen. I've hunted yots over 40yrs bud. Trust me when I tell you, you don't need half the stuff these fellas use, yes it's nice or cool to have and make it easier but put time in to hunting these animals. Back in the day even on state land having the bare minimum was plenty. Or running dogs.

Me and my buddies use just a 22lr for yots down here in Southern California and have dropped them everytime..
@Hunterslife3153 жыл бұрын
@@FUKINPIPER hell yeah man. Ppl underestimate the 22lr. All about bullet placement. I lived in indio California for a yr but I wasn't able to hunt but I live back in NY state and the hunts are great. I either use my 22-250, 17hmr or my wife's AR lol. And I just use a mouth call. But I used a 22lr for yrs growing up in the southern parts of ny. Some of the best hunting and fishing around.

I'd pay to come for a weekend of hunts with you guys. Absolutely fell in love with the channel over the past few weeks. Thanks for all the hard work, great production, great content, excellent advice, and just down right entertainment. You have actually got me thinking about purchasing a rig of my own to build myself for local predator hunting. This fall's calf drops showed me how much of a problem we have here locally. Literally watched 3 coyotes walking in the pasture in broad day light with the cows twice in a week. Happy Hunting, Godspeed.

Good advice you’ve given regarding muting the call, I’ve been doing it myself for a long time now and it works…. A thing that did happen to me on one occasion though is that the ‘red’ fox then noticed the output of my ir and came running into me anyway to a very close distance then sussing me and away without a shot…..🙈

So did you mount the bobcat?
@Gitiffan2 жыл бұрын
I live out in the High Desert of CA and rarely see coyotes and cats the size of the ones that I see in your videos! Most of the coyotes here are practically skinny with a few exceptions and the bobcats I would say are about 3/4 the size of the ones in the videos. Maybe living out in the desert, they have less prey to hunt and are relegated to mice, rats, rabbits, the occasional bird here and there, and...yes household pets (which is a rarity where I live). But a considerable problem at the local Air Force Base housing units.
