Nightfall

Vinícius Perez Trio plays Nightfall, by Charlie Haden.
When I first heard this gorgeous Tune, I had to stop whatever I was doing: I turned myself to see Kenny Barron and his bandmates delivering one of the most eloquent renditions of a Ballad I've had the pleasure of listening to.
In our show, I asked Marcos Silva, our bass player, to play the head as solo intro. The intimacy of the piece just asked me for it.
