I think they’re supposed to represent the couples children, or friends, or relatives (lol) who are oblivious to what’s really going on in their relationship. As viewers, we can see the high drama and pain they’ve caused each other. They trade accusations and places, so we know neither one is blameless.

I expected an original song with an unexpected act full of tricks and surprises. Thats why drag queens hardly reach mainstream, most of them keep doing basic acts, thinking that a bit of lightning and some weird costumes would make a good show.
