It’s my personal theory that fnaf AR and VR were intended to be soft reboots of the original games. Using modern technology to bring William Afton back. It’s hinted that Vanessa and Vanny was going to be a red herring situation since the AR emails specifically point out Vanny’s rainbow dyed hair while SB teasers showed Vanessa having blond natural hair. It’s also implied in Help Wanted that Vanny was either the player character or the possessed tape girl. Using glitchtrap to get into Fazbear entertainment systems without credentials. Then in AR using the rental service to harvest remnant from people who ordered animatronics at night and that were alone. SB likely was going to see Afton be fully reborn because of his remnant collection paired with the power supply of the Pizzaplex. But Steel Wool wanted to expand the game which resulted in dozens of retcons and lore changes resulting in the SB we know and hate.

I have my own theory that the big hippo costume is Mr. hippo. They look similar, Mr. hippos designed is very basic and rudimentary. And was probably designed in the very early 80s like 1980 to 1981 but I think the the actual character is way more older, and was made by Edwin since in this part of the timeline animatronics are not common and the only people that would be making animatronics, or Henry and Edwin since at this point, William does not know that much about animatronics since he probably learned from Henry and Jackie it’s just costume containing the mimic so he didn’t know how to make an Endo yet since it was probably takes in Edwin,s factory, I place bets that Mr. hippo was created by Edwin

But I will say that the idea of the Mimic hiding in suits that you have to walk past is a genius idea! It's like how in Dead Space, the entire game is littered with corpse. But some of them wil get up and attack you. So you have navigate around dead bodies not knowing if one of them is still ailve. Amazing.

A small correction, Balloon Boy actually is on the carousel in HW 2 (which really just confirms what you said even further). What's really neat is it's the exact silhouette as the poster. He's on the outer most layer which is why you can't see it, but you can see it clearly in this out of bounds video at 7:58 kzbin.info/www/bejne/p2apq4uDnq57eJY Also I absolutely LOVE this. The idea that we have to deactivate all the mimics makes it feel like we have an actual purpose rather than just "survive" like all the other games. The mimic being such a versatile character makes for such a cool enemy as just like you said, it could be hiding anywhere. Pair that with maybe a few dozen of them hidden throughout a massive factory and you have yourself a pretty solid horror game. I was excited before but videos like these make me all the more hyped, whether it's to see them come true or get blown away by something completely unexpected. Also really liked the inclusion of the mimic demo recreation video, I saw that a while back and thought it was severely underrated so it's nice to see it all come together here. Great work!

One detail in Security Breach is that there is a calendar in a Security office that can line up with the years 2029, 2035, or 2046. There is a "Faz-Masquerade" poster in SB with a number that's been read as either 2035 or 2046. This has been interpreted to be the date SB takes place.

Love this theory. I'm honestly very curious about what exactly the relationship was between Edwin, William and Henry and what exactly happened to Edwin. Henry is dead, William is in Purgatory but Edwin is unaccounted for. Maybe he has something to do with Fazbear Enterprises continuing into the Pizzaplex era. Very curious how this all shakes out

I haven't played the games or read the books yet, but Game Theory is on the notion that the Tales of the Pizzaplex books are pulling a Silver Eyes where the books are just introducing the characters. Honestly I think the devs are just using the books to create games. Also it's possible that Edwin and Henry could be the same person. The games from what I've heard never confirmed that Henry's surname is Emily. So it's possible Charlie Emily is Charlie Emily Murray and that Mimic's backstory could be retelling a near death experience with Henry's son but adding in the fact that Charlie was probably ran over by Afton.

I also think that book Edwin Murray might be a stand in for game Henry, or possibly William, considering Henry also made vacuums to start off before animatronics (Mr hugs), and considering our Henry doesn’t have a canon last name in the games, maybe his last name is Murray. His story is also very similar to the silver eyes (but not the same), where his child dies and he recreates her as a robot, after pouring his rage into the doll. I believe the books are trying to show us stories that point us to the right direction in-game lore but they aren’t necessarily 1 for 1. I also think the games are majorly flawed in lore because of security breach, that they are still cleaning up after that mess. 9:47 is that fucking uhyeah. It also really pissed me off that they’d release a demo to play for pax and didn’t want any footage or leaks happening, like this is the fucking fnaf community and we are sick of begging for scraps. You think they want to show off the game to get more hype, which makes me think it’s probably dog shit like SB is/was.

Thing is, the original Mimic’s arms look like they function similarily to those toy lightsabers, where they can be extended and retracted in a straight line, meanwhile Jackie’s spaghetti arms twist in a way that shouldn’t be possible for that kind of structure I would like to think that Jackie is the original Mimic, but if that were to be the case, this would then be a design inconsistency unless they find another way to explain it Nice vid tho
