the best thing about emerald host is it doesn't care about your army. quicksilver dead is great, but only if you spam harridans. scarlet doom is great, but only if you spam bladegheists. grieving legion is pretty good if you want to run multiple reinforced chainrasp or grimghast units. but what if you want to spam hexwraiths? or spam melee heroes around some spirit hosts? or if you don't want to spam anything, and instead want to take s bunch of different units for variety, or even change what you field from game to game to keep rhings fresh, or even ally in some units from flesh eaters or gravelords for a more diverse army? Emerald Host may not be the flashiest or strongest ability, but where the other nighthaunt subfactions push you into a box, effectively dictating your unit selection to you, Emerald Host is always reliably good, no matter what units you want to include in your army or what opponants you're facing off against.

A fascinating and fun Faction to learn about. Sigmar really does have some compelling army's.

Nice overview, but think you made an error regarding the Scarlet Doom; you roll dice equal to the bladegheists unit, not the enemy unit. That makes it much better, especially if you have a unit of 20+ as that’s an average of 6 to 7+ mortal wounds.
