Corrections! 1. Meat Grinter! I missed one very important step. You need the Meat Grinder Augment which can be found at the Swamp Astrolabe realm check both Merchants and also check you don't already have it in your Augments if you purchased already. In order for you to see "Ritual Fabled Meat" recipe in your cooking menu, is that you need an augmentation to go with it. Meat grinder. 2. To craft the Track Legend. one of the follow Augmentation. An easy miss mate, but anyone watching this video is that far in the game that they should know by now about Augments and how they work... but your afterthought is the perfectionist in you :)

Spyglass. Use the spyglass. Once you are in range of the spyglass you'll see the exact name of every creature in range. I had to travel half of the map to find an Elder Eoten and I passed a dozen regular Eoten while I was looking, but it was easy to tell because the spyglass pops up their name even if you can't see the creature. You just have to be in range for the spyglass to work. And when I found the first Eoten Elder, the spyglass let me know there was a second one close behind it. Incase anyone wants confirmation, I used tier 1 fabled meat and 3 quartz gems to make the ritual meat recipe. It worked just fine.

Thanks for the guide. It helped me find the Elder Eoten I needed. Unfortunately, my follower (Millie) decided we were NOT going to do this the peaceful way and I had Puck admonishing me at the end.

Easiest way to fish. Point the rod at the healthbar of the fish and it will not get too much strain. So you can stop clicking and let your stamina recharge and keep fishing. Also if yoi missed buying a augment from a shop you can acess stores you have already visited from the j menu options.

Track legend works as well. but if you havent got that spell yet, you can use your handy spyglass to find them. spy glasses give the names of creatures nearby when you look through it... just in case people didnt know.

The easiest way to find a cave in any realm is to first go to the fae tower in any realm and unlock the minor card portal, that will reveal the entire map. Then look for something that has several encounters in the same spot. Often 2 occupation (bound) or possibly 2 with another fae portal to a druidic or similar faction encounter. Those are always in cave systems (where you find coal and Sulphur). All forest has 2, swamp at least 1 and desert 2. Desert usually also have other random cave systems and forest might have 1 additional without encounter. But that is probably the quickest way to find the cave in a Swamp biome. Another way of finding these tree creatures is to use beast vision. Beast vision will highlight all creatures even when you normally would not see them. Including the arm and the entire creature under the ground.

Not sure if you ever got an answer about the weak point.... I still haven't found the elder (need to go get my tool that has track legend on it, or grind yet more t1 to make it again....) but the spell "assassin's sight" lets you see weak points on any enemy in range. I think I picked that spell up in the swamp hunt realm iirc and you just need a moderate human seal to craft it, plus the vial display augmentation on your focus.

@SiNKiLLeR_ haha yeah, I tried but short of running to every corner of the map while looking through it, it hasn't popped up in it yet. I think I've got one out on an island at the edges of the map I generated this time. Or a really shy one lol I bumped up the difficulty on the realm, which reset the first map I had. I may go back to that one though, as the elder was literally waiting for me on the other side of the portal in the first one and this is the very last thing I need to get to the watch XD

the blue gems are the weakpoints, if you give the altars meat they can give you wood for crafts. so try different meat. seems to be in equal numbers to given meat.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ the quest for the Elder tree is a special meat if I remember correctly. I was going to see if the stats are different based on level or type. The elder craft was fabled meat with a gemstone. You can try cooked meat vers raw. I gave a normal one raw meat from a monster I killed in the realm and got wood.

I've always given Eoten 1 meat and they return 5 Eoten wood, or a heart. Mostly they give wood. Not as sure about Elder Eoten as I've traded with lesser Eoten much more frequently.

Killed my elder eoten last night, the way I did was was just running circles around its legs while swinging my axe. It went very smoothly

most of this guide was good my only critique would be you don't tell us how we know if its elder or not I wasted 4 fabled ritual offerings now and now have to go grind for more. could you elaborate what constitutes as an elder without attacking it please?

Big health bar says ELDER, you can also see it from your spyglass anywhere on map, and it's the only one that will stick his hand out and let you transfer over the food. The only way you'd "waste" a ritual offering is if you ate it...don't eat it.

I would add the cards in the hit the reset portal on bottom left but that would reset your realm so anything you done there will reset to new locations.
