It's funny, Chicago gets a bad rap for its crime and segregation but this video shows the complete opposite picture of what Chicago can be like - super diverse, integrated (every group had like 2,3 or 4 different races in them, tons of interracial couples etc), peaceful, people having a good time and actually smiling! This is literally more integrated than NYC, London or any large and diverse city other than maybe Toronto. Thanks for showing a positive side of Chicago.

Yeah I totally TOTALLY agree 100%, it couldn't be more opposite of what some people say it is, I visited there 3 times and it was just like this, a great vibe to the city!

@@HeatherLewis213 It is definitely, all the violence or most of it, is in the outside suburbs and the crappy neighborhoods, south of the city, the city itself is very safe, when I was there, I never once felt scared or feared for my safety at all, even at night time, I walked around, it was a positive experience, loved it!

I would never have expected Chief Keef looking Black dudes to be mixing and mingling with fratty White college kids and middle aged White women with fancy dresses at the same spots. Those scenes are usually super segregated - I consider these two demographics to be as polar opposite as you can get in society. At the end of the day we're all the same and it is how it should be.

I see a lot of comments about Chicago is segregated . A city is what you make it if you want to segregate yourself then you will be segregated . No one is burning crosses in anyone’s yard if you have the money you can live anywhere . I think certain communities frequently come up with reasons why they can’t do something or aren’t “included” but the problem and solution lies directly in the mirror.
