I genuinely love these designs for the nightmares way way better, no offense Scott but these feel more obscure and nightmarish, rather than sharp big teeth, sort of “over trying” to be scary. oh my gosh, im in love with the voices. fredbear's has that strange kind of ghostly quality while having that lower register and it genuinely makes my skin crawl. bonnie's is more reminiscent of the way old cartoon voices used to sound and it ties into his funky rubber hose design. youve really outdone yourself and im super excited for more stuff like this

It seems as if Bonnie's design was meant to look like his plushies that the crying child keeps in his rooms, but he was being forced to do something he didn't want to do, as if the child himself due to his injuries and experience saw him as a nightmare, so on one side bonnie doesn't want to genuinely hurt him but on the other hand he's being forced to do so because of the child's fear. It could also be seen as Fredbear using the plushies to do his will to "finish what I started," and what he started being the bite, so he uses the bonnie plushie and manipulates it.

THIS IS SUCH A GOOD DESIGN DUDE. The fact that he absolutely does look like he would be a cute, silly plush toy, but his size and movements make him so weird and threatening. combined with the context, turn him into a genuinely unsettling monster. If you can get the audience to quickly identify something as a _threat_ , anything can be scary, and sometimes the dissonance between appearance and danger make it even freakier.

The demons in him start to control him and take over him, that's why he also said "I'm sorry" and did a little frown :( also if he would've stayed under the blanket, he'd be fine.
