On one hand, the intelligent zombies/mutants thing is refreshing, cause I feel like not letting the infected be intelligent is part of why so many zombie movies feel copypasted, On the other hand, boy did this movie need a rewrite or two lol.

I first heard of this movie and the *THE NIGHTMARE BECOMES REALITY* reference from Phelous's review of this movie from 2010. 4:15- Or it's a Decepticon in disguise. This is similar to the opening sequence in Transformers (2007) where Blackout attacks the military base. 4:49- At least I had the lasagna. 7:42- This movie's tonal shifts are more awkward than the ones in the theatrical cut of Justice League. 15:43- Holy shit, it's Abby Normal! 21:52- (Cut to the Nostalgia Critic saying *MAN* with dramatic stinger music playing) 22:39- Thank you for that, Brad. Makes far more sense. 27:30- Good question, movie announcer. My answer is never watching this middle finger of a movie again.

"are they vampires now". this is actually fairly correct. modern "zombies" are ghouls, a kind of vampire, not "zombies", which are living mind controlled people via voodoo. which we can also see in the naming from I am legend. "sexy" vampires came much later as well. original vampires, were ghouls. the reanimated dead that where half decayed, and crawled out of graves to go feast on the blood and flesh of their living families. Returning to their graves during the day.
