Rosie and I have been together more than 54 years and have spent a lot of that time travelling this country as well as others. We have had 9 or ten campers and have faced every problem you can think of. It's part of the deal. We love our Brinkley and fully back the company, but we still have had to fix things. Take heart tomorrow will be another day and yesterday's problems won't seem such a big deal. Burlington Bill busking on the road and here on You Tube. Enjoying your videos!

Get yourself a little squirt bottle, make a soapy solution and carry around with you. That way you can squirt it on the connections. You can use it on your tires if you think there’s a leak on a valve and a bubble will appear.

We’ve been on the road for 5 years now. You get good at expecting problems and solving them. There’s always something, but that’s road life. Best advice I have is to be meticulous with your tires and your truck maintenance.

I worry about fires. I don’t want to be Dora downer but the risk of a fire in a travel home keeps me from buying one. I think van life will be the way for me. No propane. I was scared for you. So glad it was a great outcome and you learned from it.

Better safe than sorry, for sure, in a situation like that! As you can see, it was stressful when we still didn't understand what was happening. The fire risk is very low, though; statistically speaking, you are way more likely to have a house fire. I would tell anyone with a strong desire for the lifestyle not to make any decisions based on fear! I would say that to anyone about anything, actually, lol!

The RV industry right now is a scary place……People spending 100K for an RV and nothing but problems…..and very little help from the Manufacturers….. even Brinkley which most rave about still has problems Sorry for your problems
