When in Nightmare Mode You will only get 2 of 3 pieces of Evidence so you'll have to determine through behavior and passive abilities

The releasenotes don't leave anything to guess. It is very clear: "Ghosts will not reveal one type of evidence". Same goes for the doors you keep checking in the start. It has no use because of: "A percentage of doors will now randomly start open depending on difficulty". But I still love these phasmophobia episodes!

each ghost has secondary evidence that you can find and Nightmare is supposed to spur your thinking and challenge you to go outside of the box.

If he's in the middle of a hunt a smudge stick confuses them. I've seen people smudge and walk right through a hunting ghost. That is pro maneuvers. 👍 but then you still gotta hide. It will come back & continue the hunt. It kinda stuns it I guess.

You can turn the tv off with the remote same as you can turn Off the car alarm with the keys. Also, candles prevent sanity loss the same as lights.

You guys do know that the remote for the TV is on the small square table to the right of the couch. You can also light more then 1 candle at a time in the truck. You can also rotate them in your inventory and they will stay lit unless you have them out in the rain

Hiding the clue makes it extra hard and forces you to learn ghost behavior. You say those secondary characteristics are useless but not so much in this mode. Some cant cross salt and some stay quiet, or draw energy from electronics.

On nightmare mode it doesn't give all 3 evidences and you have to know the different ghosts and what they do to be able to play nightmare mode

You have to try and figure out what the weaknesses of the ghost and exploit it

Nightmare mode is a GUARENTEED hidden 1 piece of evidence. YOU HAVE TO GUESS. Make a guess based on the ghosts BEHAVIOR that you have witnessed. Think about who it's acting. Maybe you saw it move 2 things at once on different sdie of the room, which would make it The Twins.
