Wherever the orbs are is where the ghost room is. They'll wander but will only get most evidence items in the ghost room.

So on nightmare difficulty it will always hide 1 of the evidences, also meaty you need to turn off your flashlight and any equipment in your hand otherwise the ghost will know where you are.

@@joshuamitch22 Using the emf more and listening to stuff being thrown, stop relying on the thermometer so much since the ghost leaves a trail of cold temps wherever it walks giving the impression the ghost room is somewhere else, utilizing hiding spots when being hunted, keeping a smudge and lighter handy incase the ghost catches up to you when trying to hide so you don't die, learning how the ghosts act to rule out certain ones, crossing off evidence items that are most unlikely and focusing on one's that are. I could go on the point is the play style they have is for the old patch which worked just fine but they changed alot and the old way of playing the game while it can work it makes things so much harder and is kind of brute force now. Watch some of insyms videos and you'll see the big difference. I was playing the game like they did until I started watching him and now it's wayyy easier I can generally guess which evidence items are the most likely just based off the ghosts behavior. The descriptions of the ghost isn't just flavor anymore like in the old patch it's actually very helpful because they actually have those characteristics coded into them. Thye just need to do some more research like when they got a demon, died then read up and found out about the early hunts. My go to combo when walking in is emf and camera since I can snap some early interaction photos and if they touch the door knock on the window or flip the lights, if it's finger prints it'll say so in the Pic and if not then I now know it's not finger prints ruling out any of those ghosts and can focus on other evidence while possibly getting emf 5 and getting money for all those photos. They run in with cameras and sound sensors setting up like as if they're playing the old patch which doesn't work as well anymore. Let alone they leave the spirit box on in the room which the sound sensor picks up throwing them off if the ghost moves. Hope that was enough of an explanation for you lol
