Great song. I was wondering if someone could explain to me why this and a lot of other songs with positive lyrical message are tagged on Spotify as melodic death metal though. I'm new to this style of music and I don't see how the name fits the sound. Everything on Spotifys "Sound Of Melodic Death Metal" playlist(where I found this) has some kind of motivational lyrics and/or beautiful guitar melodies in major keys over the screamed vocals. So why give it a name that implies something different?

@@Nightrageofficial Yeah, I know. I still don't get why people would call a style of music that's mostly pretty positive death metal though. The name makes it sound like this kind of music has the exact opposite of uplifting lyrical messages when a lot of it does

Well, melodeath is essentially characteristics of death metal mixed with other, lighter metal genres making it more melodic than oryginal death. The question is what exactly was taken from death metal. Usually it's the death metal screaming and drumwork paired with a bit lighter guitarwork and clean(ish) singing here and there. And generally the lyrics there are more positive. Check out 'Gothenburg style'/Swedish melodic death metal- that's where it all started
