@@TheVeksha Thats not the issue. im a melodeath maniac so im comparing them to whats ultimately best form. i think they couldve formed a better structure with this melody, their vocal is too monotonous. still hits tho!

​@@migmig5613 if it's "too much growling" (or screaming) for you then you better stop comparing bands and start trying to see unique side of each. absence of clean vocals is a better choice if you ask me. it is "younger version" of melodeath. clean vocals often sounds too "old" for me. also, it is nice that this band doesn't suffer from bad mastering as InFlames does.

@@TheVeksha well i wouldn't call them a band with barely one or two good music so good luck enjoying their fabulous mastering. Plus it doesnt seem younger melodeath has been successful compared to old, even a bit. This includes InFlames following the dislikes towards their recent projects.

I find them very similar to the band Norther.

They should really go into more melodic direction, ala Omnium Gatherum and Insomnium. Also yeah, vocalist should definetely vary up the tone of his voice. Occasionally growling and mostly rasping instead of screaming his lungs out most of the time would be much better. And please wake up your drummer, his lines should be much more intense, even the slower ones. Nightrage did record Collision of Fate and Grim Struggle, remember? Still - definitely the best song on the album, after Day of Wrath of course, that solo is untouchable.

12 Years since their second album and they still haven't gotten any better. When Tomas left the vocals, somehow the whole band changed and their style and sound hasn't been the same since, all i can ask is why did this happen? I Will always appreciate the first albums but i just cannot enjoy anything after those two. Sure this isn't the worst MDM i have heard and there has been some good guitar parts etc. over the albums but to me it just sounds bland and boring and the songwriting leaves a lot to be desired not to mention the apparent "core" elements that came along in the 3rd album, angst-y vocalists are a no-no. No hate, but no love either. Another good example of a good band gone (mostly) bad because of reasons unknown was One man army and the undead quartet, the first album was pure gold and after that it just went downhill, with a couple of good and even excellent songs along the way.
