Spinecards are very common in japanese cd games and audio cd's. You can also see them in the pc engine games. Not a common thing outside of japan. I think it add a beautiful touch

Interesting! I totally agree - it's a really cool touch, and it makes the Japanese releases feel very unique =)

Cool vid. Yuji Naka (programmer) never drew art for Sonic Team, that was always Naoto Oshima's responsibility, so that is to say Oshima is the *true* creator of Sonic. Also, those spine cards came with almost any & every game in a jewel case (PS1, Saturn, Dreamcast, etc.) in Japan. They're rather flimsy & easily lost, but I guess they help the product feel more 'premium'.

*Saturn Intensifies* Bad news, my Saturn has passed away, reading laser's shot.

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that! It's always a terrible feeling when a system dies...Any way to repair it? I know you can fix the original Xbox's laser, but the Saturn might be trickier.

Grab a "fenrir duo" ODE. Easy no install, no soldering and no more issues with the laser

I never played Nights Into Dreams but I played it's sequel.

I imagine that's the case for a lot of people nowadays. Parts of the sequel are similar to this game (any of the levels where you fly around as NiGHTS), but on the whole it's a pretty different experience from what I've seen.
