I grew up watching Melvin Air Bass. As a kid, Mel's big lips imitated the sound of an authentic Bass. Smedley junior high was already studying music and becoming a master at what he is today. Melvin, I really enjoyed your take on this tune. I played guitar on the original recording of this track (Steve Green played bass). One small detail I just wanted to point out to you is that in the intro and bridge before the long signature descending riff, we played F# E F#, not 3 F#' hits as you are playing here. Great playing!
