Nightshade's notes: If you've been in my royal court for a while, you probably know that mutual respect and admiration in a relationship is my jam. Such a dynamic is probably not what you expect from a relationship starting from such a huge power imbalance - but Lightbringer managed to create a scenario where I truly feel like this goddess and her knight can truly be equals. And yes, you read it right, this is intended to be a series. The future scripts are still in the works, but I've seen the synopses for them, and I'm very excited! A strong, capable listener character; a relationship based on support and love -- but plenty of drama on the horizon as well!

(눈‸■) It's only a few fleshwounds anyways, I tried my best to properly raise a bunch of war orphans, pretty loyal and pretty well armed, too by the way, I'd also trained them all in the art of chivalry, amongst other things. 💂‍♂️ Rest assured, They Will do anything you tell them to. 🙍‍♂️

I have a idea for pt2. So the Goddess said that it will take years for the listener to be granted to be a demigod. So a few years go buy and they die in battle where they meet their goddess again and now is granted to be a demigod and feel worthy of love.

As a guy who loves to play paladins (or holy warrior types depending on the game system). She's absolutely right that a deity of peace would need paladins. People cannot expect peace from those who seek to slay or enslave them. After all, the Knights Templar started out guarding pilgrims on the way to Jerusalem, and the Knights Hospitaler took care of the hungry and poor, to amazing lengths.
