Excellent work as always, my friend! I watch all of Martin's videos and I haven't built a model (WW2 aircraft were my 'thang') in almost 45 years! It's just the precision, care in building, painting and weathering that attracts me - I'm a photographer and observational poet and it's 'observation' that is the thing - the eye for detail, solving a problem of creating a particular 'effect' and putting this into a model is what makes your work a real work of art! Outstanding!

I got to say, that Lacquer Base MRP paints is ALL I use. I LOVE THEM. I gradually build up color and after a couple of layers, they cover so well, and look so clean when airbrushed, and even hand brushed the paint leaves no brush strokes when dried.

Is there a benefit to using an airbrush over a straight up spray can for priming? I’m assuming consistency or is it just a preference?
@riffler242 жыл бұрын
Man, you make it look so easy. I tried putting a winter whitewash on an SU-100 but it came out a bit of a disaster, lol Also, I wish I could get the ease of use you do with washes, I always struggle to keep it from either being wiped off too easily and removing the effect or impossible to clean up without accidentally taking off the previous layers (even through a varnish)
@War-Thunder-Nerd2 жыл бұрын
just wondering what air compressor you use for your airbrush, i just got ahold of a single action siphon feed one, but the compressor sounds like a v8! i am looking for a smaller silent one, if you have any recommendations on witch one, that would be great. also can you do a guide to pre shading aircraft panels i cant find a good one and i need more details to paint my next big model. love what your doing, keep it up, have a good day!

I take some thin double sided carpet tape and put it behind my paper stencils before I cut them out. I can then remove the backing they stick to the model. It reduces the chance I get any spray under the stencil that shouldn't be there. Love the KV-2.

How do you do pin wash over mate surface?
@MrSneaksful2 жыл бұрын
So good! What color was your first pin wash? Was it the dark main green (4bo) color of tank, just watered down? It definatly looks green and not black or brown. Did you mix anything in with the green?
