Quick observation: notice how clean the streets are, well lighted, and zero homelessness. Also, rarely see a gas filling station. Nearly everything is made of solid stone.

चम्पारण आन्दोलन अप्रैल 1917ई में बिहार के चम्पारण जिले में हुआ था। बिहार में नीलहे गोरों द्वारा तीनकठिया व्यवस्था प्रचलित थी जिसमे किसान को अपनी भूमि का 3/20 हिस्से में नील की खेती करनी होती थी। किसान नील की खेती नहीं करना चाहते थे क्योंकि इससे भूमि की उर्वरता कम हो जाती थी।उसे उत्पादन का उचित कीमत भी नहीं मिलता था जिसमें उसकी स्थिति दयनीय हो गई थी। किसानों के पक्ष को लेकर महात्मा गांधी जी ने चंपारण में सत्याग्रह आंदोलन की शुरुआत की। ब्रिटिश सरकार को अन्ततः झुकना पड़ा।❤❤❤❤❤
