So no real differences other than it being at night and MM. I did enjoy the Halloween Horror Night version of the Studio Tour. Being able to walk the War of the Worlds Crash Site/Bates Motel at night was pretty awesome

I miss the collapsing bridge, the parting of the seas drive thru, the original King Kong show, etc. The list goes on.

WishiWashi Trainer It is an old wooden bridge over a little swamp, that the tram passes over. You experience the sense of falling/dropping at certain points. It is to the left of King Kong 360 3-D. To this day, you always pass it when heading to the Picture Cars area.

I remember these things when I first went to Universal Studios. :) They also had, if I remember correctly, had the mummy type show too. But nowadays it's 3D and franchise stuff. :(

M-12 it’s right behind the now King Kong 3D part when you go over it the bridge would start falling slow to past and near the end it would give a big bump giving a scare to the people and moving on to the next part of the tour

hey IU how long has the tour featured a live marilyn monroe? my last tour was in 2012, but i keep in tune now and then and watch your videos. cool addition i might say. I hope for the day they have the time and care to run a short scene with the delorean when the tram is passing through court house sq, i know alot of them it does skip this section of the route. now there is night tours, surely the peeps at Universal can make this happen!

As awesome as that sounds, the studio is STILL a functioning studio and that would interfere with all aspects of the set use. Courthouse square is currently being used as a filming set for a running tv show.

darkflame44 yes back then in little Europe it was Frankenstein blasting a wall down and chasing us but they had to take it away because it is now a filming location

No...because the VIP tour allows people to get out of the trolleys and explore....and judging from how poorly lit some of the backlot is(i.e. the Wisteria Lane set-the lights are motion sensitive and iffy-it looks like the lights go out without warning), there is the very real possibility of someone getting lost or left behind

It's probably dangerous to be in the backlot alone in night.

No because they have 12 or more security cameras all around the backlot a police and fire station and cars,trucks and vehicles carrying police men so they are safe if anything did happen they would probably get out of the backlot as fast as they can most likely because of Norman bates
