Made these and they turned out GREAT!!!! Soaking in water before hand for sure helps them get crisp! Such a yummy & easy recipe!

Can you use parchment paper in the bottom of the basket? Also, is there an arrow on the lid to indicate a certain position, or does that not matter? Nice vid!

Loved the video. Thank you for sharing this. The Instant Pot was on my shopping list for years and bought the Instant Pot with the air fryer. I am looking around for ideas and just love this one.

Have you ever made fish and chips? I made them, and it was bad. nicely crispy outside but dry on the inside. The fish. I followed your recipe for these potatoes, and those were really good. Thank you for sharing.

I haven't, but its only because I don't eat fish. I am sure its possible, but it make some practice playing with the time and temperature. Thanks for watching :)

Soaking the potatoes releases some of the starch which helps them brown

Can we use parchment paper in instapot air fryer for frying?
@NightTimeMommyReviews4 жыл бұрын
Yes of course, but you will want the food on the parchment paper when air frying, as the parchment paper will fly around if nothing is holding it down. Hope this helps :)

Are you supposed to keep the air fryer lid handle up so air flows right when in use?

As far as I know it doesn't make a difference

I just got this I stand pot with air fryer so I’m on you tube looking up videos of recipes and came across yours. I have a question, it seems like 40 min is what it would take to cook in the oven or even less time. What’s the difference?
@Ass_Burgers_Syndrome3 жыл бұрын
This method uses a lot less oil, and won't heat up your house like a hot oven would.

Energy consumption. An oven needs WAY more energy.

You soak the potatoes to remove some of the starch and potassium, I do it as a dialysis patient.
