I have a son and if my son was in danger I would leave the party with the other child and help him but I only have one son and if he was left home alone cause I have to work and he called me saying he was in danger I would help my son not caring if I got fired my son's life is worth loosing a job

I assume when people act irrationally that there's either drug abuse, mental health issues, or criminal activity. really no other explanation. In those situations, it's always best to call police first and let them deal with the issue accordingly

Unsavory people attempting to open doors, knocking, then trying the handle _again_ is the same thing as going to the fridge looking for something to satisfy a craving, closing the door, then opening it back up to see if anything changed. No chance in hell so why bother? Can we also stop hiding in closets? It's the first place home invaders will look if not under the bed(s). We never hear anybody claim to bunker down in a bathroom with a locking door. Take on the assailant with hair spray or nasty toilet brush. Get creative.
