Never think “we haven’t been robbed before what are the chances it’s happening now?” I worked at a Hardee’s during my time in college with someone who had worked there 18 years. She said they had never been robbed. She left for another job and a few months later when I was a manager we had 3 robbery attempts.

When I hear these type of stories involving convenience stores or gas stations, especially at night, it reminds of me of when I used to work night shift in a Warehouse. I'd work from 6pm to 4:30am. Then sometimes after work, I'd stop at either a gas station or Walmart. But this was 10 years before Walmart changed it's open and closed hours, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Anyway, I'd stop at Walmart and browse around to see if we needed anything for home. Then I'd stop at a gas station and pick up some snacks As an after work thing. Then I'd go home, take a quick shower and watch either a couple of KZbin videos, a new movie I bought at Walmart or play some video games for about an hour before going to bed.

I'm an Night Owl as well sometimes taking walks around my neighborhood at night which is very quiet and peaceful when most of the world on the side of the planet is asleep but due to these videos I always carry either a stun gun or pepper spray or both when I'm out late at night bother taking a walk or stopping at a 7-Eleven gas station. this kind of videos have made me more aware of my surroundings all times

That's not why they tell you to let them take shit. It's because if you get injured or die, it's a liability they have to pay for. They don't want to pay for your recovery or anything like that, no compensation whatsoever given to the family. They would rather lose the like, ~200 bucks in the till than deal with the legal fall out of you doing anything to prevent the stealing.

STORY #1 ----- If he got the mop that he was suing from ''''near the rest rooms'''' and he was already hiding in that area when the robber entered, then why didn't he either sneak or just outright RUN into the rest room and call the police??? ...And when he dialed 911, he should've known the dispatcher's voice might be heard by the robber. I'm so glad these stories aren't real because the mere thought of people as dumb as some of these characters actually existing, is a horrifying thought.

They can, but that is often enough not the case. It's not always accurate and that's if they get information. The Information they might get can take from a few seconds to a few minutes to receive.

This isn't a scary experience but I was working merchandising with another company and was sent to a 711 location. I barely started my shift not even 10 minutes passed and one of the employees grabbed my hand and proposed to me 😅... I said no of course but he still acted creepy.
