I want to capture my restless legs on film. I don't want people to think they are alone.
You are far from it.
The purpose of this channel is to connect with others who suffer...to have there say in the comment section
I would love for anyone with a camera or phone to record themselves pacing the floor showing what they do when they have an episode of RLS... even in the day...
I would like to put a video together for others to also know they are not alone...
please send it via WeTransfer it is totally free. just sign up to the free version and send your video to
fat2health@hotmail.com
Many many thanks. restless leg syndrome

I am so sorry that you have this awful disease. I have it most of the day and wake up around 4am or 5am with it . I also have arthritis in my knees so struggle with that as well. I try to explain to people what it’s like but they just don’t understand. It ruins my life. Take care. Xx

Please know that you are NOT alone. So many of us suffer this awful horrid illness and completely understand how YOU feel. I don't want you to suffer in silence, together we can make things happen. I am so glad you have found my page. Do you belong to any of the RLS pages on Facebook? I want to make it my mission to connect as many sufferers as possible, all over the world so we can unite in finding much needed ANSWERS... Thank you for being here. x

Hi Jacqui. Thanks so much for sharing this video. You are right indeed many RLS sufferers think they are alone, that it is a rare illness, etc. It took me years to figure out what it was and I was shocked there is actually medication for it that could have helped me for those many years i was in agony each night. Everyone is different but the medication that does the trick for me is 5 x 0.88mcg Pramipexole (very important it has to be taken half hour before your evening meal otherwise they do not work very well) together with 75mg Pregablin. Hope your video reaches many. Tessa x

Hi Tessa, I have augmentation and desparately need to get off pramipexole, It worked for a few years so I am thankful for that but latest science says, these are not good. I am looking for alternatives myself before approaching my doctor. someone on here mention patches so will look into it. thank you so much for commenting. I hope we can find a cure or at least find answers to why we have it. x

Hi I am sorry you have this it’s horrible, I had it also but since I’ve been on my Fentanyl patches it’s stopped. My tips are have a warm bath with bath salts,Magnesium Vitamin also helped and walking with earphones in to take my mind off it. X

Hi just checking in to see how everyone is doing ? I am having a hard time with it at the moment . I am on pramipexole , I have taken it for a number of years. I am 54 and I am very overweight I stress eat and I am desperate to loose weight but it’s just another battle. I also have arthritis and polycystic ovaries. I suffer with white coat syndrome so get very panicky over going to the dr which doesn’t help with getting the help I need. Sorry to go on about myself but I just wanted people to know my situation. How did you get on with your drs appointment ? I hope it went well. I wondered if anyone else’s legs were worse when they went on a computer or read something , mine go mad if I go on my iPad and it’s not due to sitting down ,it’s something to do with the concentration. I also always get mine first in my left leg. Take care I hope you have some RLS free time. Xx

hello. thank you for commenting. I feel your pain. I am coming off Pramipexole and it's horrible. I have no idea if Gabapentin ( what the doctor has given me) will work but coming off Pramipexole is like hell! but I am hoping there will be an end result. in the mean time, I am doing a little bit of Intermittent fasting and cutting down on high carbs... drinking plenty of water, cutting out caffeine and getting alittle exercise to better help myself. fingers crossed. please head over to my other channel for weight loss. kzbin.info I hope you can find inspiration in my videos. the last two videos have been of me struggling with RLS so food hasn't been that great but I've not beat myself up over it and carried on. I am back on track now. I hope you enjoy them xx
