True. That's why I chose to learn instead of take sides. I watch shows like this, Cops, Live PD, lots of those shows. And my mom's dad was actually a Chicago police officer when my mom was growing up. I understand the real troubles. I understand at least most of their actions. Yeah, there are some bad apples, but we as a society need to not focus on the bad cops so much, and we need to focus on the good the boys in blue do

Calmer573 can’t transport someone with a back injury just will-nilly. You wait for medics due to the risk of moving him ending up paralyzing him. They are not equipped to properly stabilize him in the field and transport him in a cruiser. What if he codes?

@@tepoo7772 They don't though. There's a reason doctors cannot operate on family, because they cannot remain objective in treatment... well, the police are like family too. So, the cop gets special treatment (more attention). If you don't believe me, rewatch the episode. The stabbing victim may have survived and gotten better, but help for him was delayed because the rest of the squad was responding to the cop's shooting. Seemed like five cop cars escorted him (the cop) to the hospital. I guarantee the other shooting victims (not cops) in the whole series did not have a five car escort. I understand he is one of their own, but his life is no more or less important than another's. It seemed like the force dedicated more attention to the scene with the cop than the full situation, all three "shootings"/scenes. They even said, the force becomes one, working together to help the cop and apprehend the shooter. Not that those things are inherently bad, but if they all focus on that, it will be at the expense of others who also need their attention.

Stopping bleeding is one thing, but its not like you can just pull bullets out of peoples backs. Your not supposed to move someone with any type of back injury, moving them could cause more back injuries without proper paramedic training
