I had Covid in late November and ended up requiring an ambulance. My husband warned 911 when he called that we were both covid positive so the EMTs could take precautions. Ended up spending 11 days on a ventilator with double lungs viral and fungal pneumonia, sepsis, PE, 3 DVTs and ARDS. Still not back to normal but thankful for those EMTs that came to get me, knowing that I was covid positive. They had to remove my mask in the ambulance to administer oxygen since I was down to 76%.

I’m so glad he recovered. My daughter was at a very small wedding recently, where everyone was vaccinated except one woman. She started exhibiting symptoms after the wedding, while still with everyone. She went home, and her boyfriend got it, and his 94 year old father got it. They all lived together. Well within a few days, she died in the ICU and then her boyfriend died the next day in ICU. The elderly man survived and had to go to a home because there was no one left at his home to care for him. Such a horrible and tragic situation. God bless all first responders and essential workers who served people lovingly and willingly.

My wife and I got Covid-19. It was scary and bad. I had a heavy chest and hard time breathing but I can't explain it but I can make myself retain high oxygen levels even when it's real hard to breath. I have exercise endured asthma. I didn't have to be hospitalized but my wife did I was up at night while my wife was sleeping and I tested her oxygen levels and it came back as 41. I rushed her to the hospital and she was immediately admitted. I couldn't see her for what seemed like a lifetime. I am tearing up just thinking about it. I was able to bring her some stuff but I had to arrange it with the hospital and they took it up to her. When she was released she was still monitored 24/7 because she had a monitor watch that had wires with a sensor that was tapped to her finger and Bluetooth connected through her phone to the hospital. I truly thought I was never going to see my wife again. Seeing this clip of this episode brought back all those memories. But I never thought of the EMS workers that knowing that most likely if they were bringing a person to the hospital because of Covid-19 they most likely would never leave that hospital to go home. That must of been terrible to have to do that every day. THANK YOU ALL EMS WORKERS AND ALL THE HOSPITAL STAFF. YOU ARE ALL HEROS IN MY EYES.

I love this girl, as I can tell she really is passionate for her job and helping people. But, I think she needs to chill with the “my man,” business, as it makes her look like she’s trying to hard to be one of the cool kids. Lol! It’s a tad much. But again, I do like her and appreciate her (seemingly genuine) care for folks.

i don’t think she’s trying too hard at all. i’m young and nobody says “my man.” it’s just some of her vernacular lmao
