Did you know that NW did this whole album in a movie that they also starred in? The movie has the same title as the album and I highly recommend watching it as it is really good. This song Tuomas wrote when his Grandfather passed away, he was in the room with his Grandmother when she said her goodbye to her Husband and told him that she "checked his teeth and warmed his toes" This was a loving tribute to him and Anette's beautiful voice was perfect,

I didn't like Arabesque very much, as a soundtrack to a movie this instrumental would be suitable, but not more than that. For my taste Last of the wilds and Moondance from second album are more melodic and interesting. But Turn Loose The Mermaids is great, I totally agree with you here.

There is a reason why you will find very few recordings of Anette live. Sadly not in her element with tuning problems in her own songs and her versions of any Tarja songs are poor. Only reasonable in the studio. No wonder she left when she heard that Floor was her temporary replacement.
