Floor is an absolute vocal athlete. How she is able to sustain such insane vocal belts, growls, clean, distorted, operatic, etc for an entire concert is truly amazing. If singing was an Olympic event she would have more Gold medals than Michael Phelps, and the same, if not larger set of lungs.🎤🎵🥇🥇

Hey, nice to see you're back with another Nightwish reaction. This song is one of my favourites. It's very emotional and Emppu's solo gives me chills every time. To quote Tuomas: "This is the most personal song I’ve ever written. My testimony for the whole world. With this song I want to apologise to everyone who deserves my apology. It also makes an “I don’t care” -statement to them who deserve it. The song is also about what Nightwish means and has meant to me. It’s all, without it I’m dead. I have created it and it has created me. When I pass away, this song’s lyrics are of what I wish to be remembered. An ocean soul." You'll hear the terms 'ocean soul' and 'dead boy' more often in his songs. Tuomas has more than once described himself as an 'ocean soul'. The ocean is a place for peace and emotion, it's a deeper source of his inspiration and creativity. 'Dead boy' is a metaphor for growing up and losing your childlike innocence.

Hey Martine :) Awesome comments as always. This is actually my favourite guitar solo from Emppu. It´s so extremely beautiful in it´s simplicity. Well Emppu makes it look simple and I´m quite sure nailing it would be anything but that. The bit when he waves his fingers, looking to get a little bit more ring out of that note tells me he knows exactly the emotional feeling he needs to produce. Amazing!!

Doesn't have to be heavy to be amazing. Nightwish isn't just heavy or just softer. Nightwish is all of it and always amazing to those with open minds. After Emppus solo, Tuomas looks like an angel on Earth. Btw She had tats (at least on her left arm) in 2013 but they weren't close to finished. Now for the heavier contrast from this same show...Buenos Aires "Slaying The Dreamer". 🤘

Great choice! Amazing performance. Nice reaction. Floor’s tattoos came after 2013. One of their mellower tunes, yet poignant and powerful, an outpouring of emotion from Tuomas, and one of my favorite Emppu solos, albeit brief. There’s seems to always be more to discover with this band. Maybe the Wembley 2015 show opener, Shudder Before the Beautiful soon? Keep the Nightwish coming.

Floor had 1 tattoo at the Wacken13 show. A horseshoe on her right wrist. Now she has more then 10. A wolf behind each ear. A sunflower on her left hand with stems and the same on her upper left arm. And a masive owl on her right shoulder. A tat on her right hand as well. Theres more im forgetting.

@4:20 Floor clenches her left fist and draws it back to her body. @7:43 she clenches both fists. She wants the audience to know how much power she's putting into her performance. After the music ends Floor puts her mic back on the stand and says, "thank you". IMHO this is Floor's greatest vocal performance of this decade.

Nightwish has such a great variety of music, and Floor Jansen has an amazing variety of colors in her voice. So each song is good for its own reasons. When you guys do I Want My Tears Back, do the version from Buenos Aires too. The interaction between Nightwish and the fans is awesome in that one. I only discovered Nightwish in the last few months. I can say that they have changed me in some way. The effect is mysterious and I could make some melodramatic statements about this but I'll restrain myself. It's almost like a rebooting of the 'soul'! Weird.

The boy narrating was eleven years old at the time his name is Sam Hardwick the story is about a misunderstood boy that finds solace in music very beautiful and sad in some ways song. Forgive me I could be wrong on that conclusion.

Floor started to add some ink shortly after the Wacken 2013 show. She has added more since this show. You hair color almost matches the color of Emppu's guitar. One of the few ballad type songs from Nightwish. This is a very emotional and personal song for Tuomas. The small child's voice represents Tuomas speaking. When asked what this song was about "Tuomas has said about this song, that it's about if he were to die tomorrow, what would he want to say to everyone that he loves, and that love him..." Notice the small boy on the screen reaching out to the flying swans on the screen. The swan is the guide to the afterlife in Finnish mythology. He is reaching out to implore them to take him with to the other side. A beautiful song filled with sadness from an unfulfilled destiny.

To realy get an idea of what she is capable of. Here are a few nice ones to pick from if you do so. -Shallow from Lady Gaga -Alone from Heart -Adagio from Lara Fabian -Phantom of The Opera duet with Henk Poort (the official Dutch Phantom) And if you want to find out why Nightwish wanted her so badly , do a reaction on the song Disdain from her former band Revamp (live at Graspop 2010) In this one you will see a real heavy Floor , with some vocal surprises.....:) Thanks for the ride.

Ok guys…. From this same show you can catch a bit of a Nightwish dichotomy. Check out “Gethsemane” then compare/contrast with “Slaying the Dreamer” Live Buenos Aries, same show. Wildly different and almost hard to believe it’s the same band on the same night. Keep up the good work!
